I'm getting married

Does the world stop turning when someone gets married? Before getting engaged, I'm pretty sure I'd have answered that question with a quick head nod in the affirmative. I've seen probably more than my fair share of Cinderella stories with the magic of love constantly brewing. Now that 40 days of engagement have passed, I must admit that life goes on.

It just does. Marriage is the door that opens up a whole new world of heart breaks, joys, challenges and thought processes. Marriage means life is never about just you again. Marriage is the promise you'll keep doing what you've always been doing, only now your arms are linked with another soul who's trying to do what you're doing--just trying to be a little bit better, wiser, happier, and stronger with each new day and experience.

I'm glad I'm getting married. I like that life goes on.
